Severn River - It has been said Sparrow Lake is just a wide spot on the Severn River which flows through it .The Severn enters the lake at the South East corner and exits about 2 miles later at the North West corner. Being part of the Trent-Severn waterway system it gets a lot of traffic in the summer months. Pictures below are from Sparrow to Swift Rapids Dam
