Wenona Lodge - was built in 1910 by James and Hannah Maguire, a brother and sister. Later, their nephew Frank bought the resort.Frank and Muriel Maguire restored the lodge and operated it for many years.Situated on the east shore it had pleasant grounds and large stately trees.In 1970, James Maguire Jr and his wife Maureen took ownership. It was destroyed by fire in 1982 and was rebuilt. It was however, eventually closed and today there are no buildings standing on the property.
